Report a Planning Issue

Developments, extensions and road changes must follow Planning regulations and process. While MPs cannot stop developments from happening or force through projects when planning issues come up, they can summarise constituent feeling and feedback when in the public interest.

In most cases though, you will have as much success reporting an issue directly to the appropriate address or during a consultation. My casework team and I can advise on who to contact, but we avoid getting involved in personal disputes or when, as an MP, I cannot effect the outcome.

The best place to start is at the Government Planning Inspectorate website to see if you have a good case.
