Town Hall: Resetting our relationship with the EU

At the start of February, as our first Prime Minister to join a meeting of European Council members since Brexit, Keir Starmer started the much-needed work to rebuild the UK's relationship with Europe.

On 19th May, the UK will welcome the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission to the UK for the first UK-EU leaders’ summit, to further strengthen the relationship between the UK and the EU.

And on 7th June, I'm organising a summit in Bristol North West specially for constituents on ‘Resetting our relationship with the EU’.

This is part of a new series of town hall events that I'm running across the constituency this year, with each event themed to focus on a different mission in this government's Plan for Change.

I'm holding these events because it's important that, in my capacity as a constituency MP, I hear your views on the government's plans. This is your opportunity to share with me your support, questions or concerns about the work that my Cabinet colleagues and I are doing to deliver on our promise of change.

Important:

  • This event is only for people who live in my Bristol North West constituency. If you are not a constituent, your ticket will be cancelled. (You can check if your address is in my constituency here.)

  • For security reasons, the venue details will only be shared with attendees 24 hours before the event. The venue will be in Westbury-on-Trym.

  • The venue is wheelchair accessible.

  • My team can book a BSL interpreter for the event, subject to the availability of the BSL interpreters that we use – it is recommended to book as early as possible. Please email my office to request a BSL interpreter at darren.jones.mp@parliament.uk.
