Five years ago, I was first elected as your MP. I'm as grateful now as I was then to win the trust and support of so many people across Bristol North West.

With the help of my brilliant (but small!) team, we help local people with their problems, answer your questions about local, national and international issues and represent your views in Parliament.

As Chair of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee in the Commons, I work on the biggest challenges facing the country: the energy crisis, climate change, jobs, economic growth and national security.
